Pedestals are a really traditional choice for wedding ceremonies particularly in churches and can be placed on one or both sides of the altar/ platform. However, if you don’t like to stick to tradition but want to decorate your ceremony venue, you could have flowers flowing from rustic apple crates or even sitting on a tree stump. The great thing is you can re-use your pedestal arrangements at the reception too! For that added extra you can have pew ends on each row or on the floor along the aisle. It’s amazing how even something simple can lift a room!
