When it comes to ladies corsages, traditions have changed quite a bit. It used to be the fashion for ladies to wear a cluster of spray roses, upside down on their right lapel (usually the left for men). These days couples tend to have the same buttonholes for the ladies and the men or have a simple cluster of flowers. The only thing to bear in mind is what the lady will be wearing. Whereas the men are usually in co-ordinating suits so the flowers will match, the women may be better with cream so it doesn’t clash with their outfit. If they don’t have a jacket or stiff dress to attatch their corsage too, you may like to consider a wrist or hangbag corsage. Corsages are usually provided for parents and grandparents.
